Wonderful families of 100th Sun Mountain and of the beautiful state of Colorado,
We've got great activities in the works for the 2025 season. If you're interested in learning more about our organization and joining us for fun and companionship in the great outdoors, please contact Scoutmaster Doug Taylor at dtaylor@osg-co.org.
Our upcoming events are:
- February 15 - 2:30-4:30 - Pathfinder/Rover group meeting in Creekside Park in Wheat Ridge
- February 22 - 10:00-12:00 - Otter/Timberwolf group meeting in Prospect Park in Wheat Ridge
- March 8 - 10:00 - Snowpack Stampede in Golden Gate Canyon State Park! Cabins available for overnight stays on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8.
Snowpack Stampede (formerly known as Klondike) is a day of fun and skills building in the snowy Colorado mountains. Scouts will visit different 'towns' to practice their outdoor skills, trade at the trading post, and cap the day off with downhill sled racing! Space is available for staying in the cabins on Friday night, or you can come for the day on Saturday.
If you're interested in getting involved in scouting, this event is a great way to get to know everyone and learn about what we do.
2024 was a blast, looking forward to this year's event!
New to Guiding? Who are we?
We are the 100th Sun Mountain; OSG, a community of outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to exploration and service. If you're curious to know more about us, check out our National Website: https://outdoorserviceguides.org/ and support for Leaders: https://www.guides4guides.org/.
What do we do?
Our passion lies in embracing the great outdoors and empowering each other through exciting activities and camps. As an organization, we foster leadership skills and stewardship for nature's wonders.
Our community meets up regularly for events around greater Denver; we also carry out overnight campouts in beautiful places in the Colorado mountains. We love meeting new families that share our passion for the great outdoors! And we also believe scouting can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. We place a particular emphasis on helping our Pathfinder-age scouts (middle school transitioning into high school) build the skills they need to lead their own events and grow their love of the outdoors into adulthood.
It takes a village!
Our beloved Group needs dedicated volunteers to help us continue fostering leadership, camaraderie, and outdoor skills in our young Guides. Join us on this incredible journey by making a lasting impact on our future - your time and passion make all the difference!
Please see section 3 of the registration form. After completion adults interested in joining our Group as Rovers may register directly here; https://outdoorserviceguides.org/dashboard/site/login

Youth Safety Refresher
The 100th Sun Mountain; OSG is a 100% volunteer-led organization that adheres to the "Two Deep" leadership policies of the Outdoor Service Guides. In order to plan our outings effectively we must have Registered Rovers and background-checked adults to help facilitate. Please consider helping in this way.
You've made it to the end! Tremendous gratitude to all who made last year a success. Looking forward to seeing your smiling faces soon!
Cheerfully Yours,
The 100th Sun Mountain Rovers
