Wonderful families of 100th Sun Mountain and of the beautiful state of Colorado,

We've got great activities in the works for the 2025/2026 season. If you're interested in learning more about our organization and joining us for fun and companionship in the great outdoors, please contact Scoutmaster Rover Echo (Rachael Kenney rkenney@osg-co.org) or Secondus Rover Doug (Doug Taylor dtaylor@osg-co.org).

New to Guiding? Who are we?

We are the 100th Sun Mountain; OSG, a community of outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to exploration and service. If you're curious to know more about us, check out our PowerPoint, the National Website: https://outdoorserviceguides.org/, and support for Leaders: https://www.guides4guides.org/

What do we do?

Our passion lies in embracing the great outdoors and empowering each other through exciting activities and camps. As an organization, we foster leadership skills and stewardship for nature's wonders.

Our community meets up regularly for events around greater Denver; we also carry out overnight campouts in beautiful places in the Colorado mountains. We love meeting new families that share our passion for the great outdoors! And we also believe scouting can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. We place a particular emphasis on helping our Pathfinder-age scouts (middle school transitioning into high school) build the skills they need to lead their own events and grow their love of the outdoors into adulthood. We also have a Timberwolf Pack (3rd-5th graders) and previously offered an Otter Raft (Kindergarten-2nd grade). We would like to continue to offer Otters and begin to offer Chipmunks (preschool) if there are interested children and adult volunteers.

It takes a village!

Our beloved Group needs dedicated volunteers to help us continue fostering leadership, camaraderie, and outdoor skills in our young Guides. Join us on this incredible journey by making a lasting impact on our future  - your time and passion make all the difference!

Registration

Ready to register? Fill out our 2025/2026 registration form here

  • Otter (kinder - 2nd grade), Timberwolf (3rd - 5th grade), and Pathfinder (6th grade - age 17) registration is $70 without a uniform and $85 with a uniform (cap and shirt; a necker is included in the $70 registration)
  • Chipmunk (preschool) registration is $25
  • Rover (18+) and background-checked adult registration is waived, but if you would like to contribute $25 to cover the cost of your background check, it is appreciated!

Dues cover:

  • A necker for new scouts,
  • A handbook (and a new handbook each time the youth moves up),
  • All badges,
  • All materials,
  • A digging spoon for Otters, and
  • A knife for Timberwolves (once they earn their whitling award),

There may be occasional additional fees when we incur charges for site rental or food for the camp's cantina, but these are negotiable. We want scouting to be accessible to all. Reach out to Rover Echo (rkenney@osg-co.org) if you have any trouble completing the form, have questions about registration, or would like to discuss scholarships.

Youth Safety

The 100th Sun Mountain OSG is a 100% volunteer-led organization that adheres to the "Two Deep" leadership policies of the Outdoor Service Guides. In order to plan our outings effectively, we must have Registered Rovers and background-checked adults to help facilitate.  Please consider helping in this way.

Tremendous gratitude to all who made our previous years a success. We are standing on the shoulders of giants and are looking forward to seeing your smiling faces soon!

Cheerfully Yours,

The 100th Sun Mountain Rovers
